Sustainable Apart Hotel

For this project, I converted the existing Above Bar Church in central Southampton into a contemporary aparthotel designed to appeal to a diverse range of users, including travellers, visitors, and those relocating to the area. I identified key user needs and developed the design within the constraints of the existing building envelope. My proposal integrated sustainability strategies informed by the RIBA outcome: health and well-being.

I prioritised a true connection with nature by adding water features and arches that responded to the city's architecture and the building itself.
